This Sunday's Gospel: JN 3:16-18

Trinity Sunday
In today’s Gospel, Jesus explains to Nicodemus why God’s Son came into the world: to give us eternal life.
  • God’s love leaves no one out. How can we be like that?
  • How do people know that our family is one and always united in love (as the Trinity is one, as the Trinity is a community of love)?
  • How do we show hospitality to others so that they feel welcome and at home — at one — with us (in our home and our parish)?
  • Pray with the Sign of Cross this week.

Some ideas for this week:
The Trinity is the “central mystery of the Christian faith." Here are some ways to celebrate the day, plus some talking points to get you started.
To help kids understand the Trinity, try explaining it this way: Each of us can be a child, sibling, friend, student, have particular hobbies or skills and may one day be parents, spouses, aunts and uncles, and have a job. We are many different people in one sense, but the same person, in reality. How does the complexity of who we are help you to understand the Trinity better? Click HERE for Family Prayer Sheet.

Mercy Mat Ministry
PLASTIC GROCERY BAGS NEEDED

We have a ministry that makes sleeping mats for the homeless from plastic grocery bags, pretty amazing, right? They are in need of clean, grocery bags. There is a big planter outside of Church, next to the SVDP cart to drop off bags. Any questions, email Marjie, meschutz@yahoo.com .

St Vincent de Paul
Also an update from St. Vincent de Paul:
If you can assist with bringing in a perishable item on June 14 , please click HERE .
The crate remains outside during the day for non-perishable items. Maintenance removes the food items at 5 and brings them to the pantry.

What You Need To Know To Keep Youth Safe Online
Youth are spending more and more time online with their phones and tablets. This increases their chances of being approached by a predator. Those seeking to exploit young people are online in popular sites such as TikTok, Minecraft, Fortnite, etc., pretending they are also a peer.
In this training, you will learn how predators approach youth online and which games and apps that they use. Parents and caregivers will receive a toolkit with instructions and information, even an animated age appropriate video “I Am Little Red” so you may “human traffick proof your child.”
