Formerly “the most famous narc in America” (New York Magazine), made a 25-year career as one of America’s highest profile DEA Special Agents, five of which he worked undercover. As head of DEA’s largest office in the world, New York, Bob became so visible; Pablo Escobar had at one time targeted him for assassination.
He has been featured on numerous national television shows and has been a drug consultant for both CBS and PBS News. He has consulted on several films including Traffic, Training Day, Blow, and American Gangster. His autobiography, “Dead on Delivery” was published by Warner Books and was the basis for the television movie “Mob Justice”.
During his career with the DEA, Bob traveled to 73 countries, and met and discussed the drug issue with First Lady Nancy Reagan and two sitting Presidents; George H.W. Bush, and Bill Clinton. Bob provides presentations throughout the country annually to corporations, medical & dental professionals, schools and parents. Recent presentations include MD Anderson Cancer Hospital and the Florida Medical Association Opioid Summit as co-keynote speaker with Governor Rick Scott.
