This world is changing dramatically-and fast! The spirit of hate is taking over our countries. Evil is becoming mainstream. You can feel the hate-and the fear. But don’t be afraid. God is greater and His power is available to all of us.

 

If you will put your TRUST in God, He will give you “Spiritual Courage” that will enable you to confront the evil of our times. God did it for Abraham, Moses, Joshua, David, Gideon, Elijah, Jonah, Paul, Wycliff, Luther. All of these flawed men faced fearsome times that caused others to fall. Yet God intervened by their hands because they all had one quality, “Spiritual Courage.” To face this Satanic hatred that is literally consuming this world, you must become a courageous person in Jesus Christ.

 

Out of all those great men let’s take the least of the least, Gideon, hopefully that will give you courage that God will work in and through you. Gideon pleads with God and says, “My clan is the weakest and I am the least in my father’s house.” Judges 6:15 That’s you and me. God promises if you will put your TOTAL TRUST in Him, He will give you a FAITH that enables you to rise above the circumstances of today.

 

To “Qualify” for the power of God, we must first come to the place where we recognize that in and of ourselves, we are weak, and we have limitations. Like Gideon we need to confess, “God, I need YOU, and I’m nothing without YOU.”

 

 Spiritual Courage do you have it? You’re not born with it. It is yours by FAITH in Jesus Christ. He offers it to all but all do not exercise it. Gideon, a simple poor man did. I believe there is a Gideon inside all of us and we need to let him out.

 

You know how the story ends. Gideon asked God for multiple signs before he summoned the courage to lead a host of the impoverished Israelites against a huge multinational force. Then he watched God dismiss 31,700 of his men. Then he and the 300 men who were left courageously risked their lives for their people, and God saved Israel by their hand. God doesn’t need numbers, He needs men and women of “Spiritual Courage!”

 

We need to exercise “Spiritual Courage” to face the violence coming our way-and the hateful spiritual force that is behind it. Do not take courage from your guns, gardens or gold-what’s coming is too overwhelming for that. Yes have them, but remember they are only peripheral to taking courage in God!

 

God says, “Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage.” Joshua 10:25 “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” Ephesians 6: 10 Without “Spiritual Courage,” you’re helpless. With it, you are fearless. It will be Satan who will have to fear you. Be brave. Be of good courage and be not afraid!

Whenever I’m alone with God, especially in nature, my “Spiritual Courage” is activated!
