Kennedy Heights hosts
"Vespers at Lent"

March 14, 2021 at 4:00 pm

A service of multicultural word, music, and dance live on Zoom, that provides an opportunity to share our various histories, enrich each other's worship experience, and make all of us more comfortable with our differences.

Please invite your friends and families to be a part of this worship service.

If you or your congregation would like to participate, with anthems, solos, or liturgy, please contact Elders Patricia Brown [], Janet Langhorst [] or leave a message at Kennedy Heights Presbyterian Church [513-631-1114].
Newly elected and ordained ruling elders and deacons in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) can now access resources that will guide them in understanding the constitutional questions of the denomination.

"Coming Alive in Christ: Training for PC(USA) Ruling Elders and Deacons based on the Constitutional Questions" is the first initiative launched as part of the Church’s Year of Leader Formation. The focus on the constitutional questions of the PC(USA) makes this a robust training!

Stewardship Kaleidoscope – Right here in Cincinnati!
Meet Our Speakers!

Stewardship Kaleidoscope 2021 will be in Cincinnati, OH,
September 13-15, as well as offering a virtual experience.
This annual conference offers education, worship, and amazing opportunities for growth in stewardship and generosity.
This year we are excited to announce that Tod Bolsinger of Fuller Theological Seminary and author of Canoeing the Mountains and Tempered Resilience will join us for two plenary sessions, with the Rev. Dr. J. Herbert Nelson II, Stated Clerk of the PC(USA), leading us in worship.
The Presbytery of Cincinnati is partnering with the Presbyterian Missions Agency on this event, and the offering will go toward our mission partner
Our Daily Bread!

We will have more than two dozen workshops for in-person attendees that address topics from the spirituality of stewardship to practical tools for managing pledge campaigns.

Stewardship Kaleidoscope draws leaders from across the Presbyterian Church (USA) and other ecumenical partners with content designed to help participants explore stewardship that has a real impact on ministry.

Look for more speaker announcements and news about registration coming soon!

“Assessing Prophetic Leadership With Regard to Racial Justice in the Non-Black Teaching Elders of the Presbytery of Cincinnati”

For many years, the Presbytery of Cincinnati has supported the Metropolitan Area Religious Coalition of Cincinnati (MARCC).

Two of our Presbytery members – Patricia Brown (Board) and Bob Clary (Advisory Council) have served them faithfully.

Our financial situation and the One Hopeful Fund policy have made it so that we cannot continue to support them from the Presbytery Operating Fund.

Our OHF monies go to our churches and the policy states we cannot donate to private 501c3’s.

That said, we are looking at ways we can partner with MARCC going forward, particularly as they work on homelessness in Cincinnati.

Any individual church looking to support this great organization can get information here.

as of 2-22-21
The Presbytery Office is at Level Three of our Pandemic Plan.
The Presbytery office will remain closed to the public for the immediate future.
Lisa will largely be in the office. The rest of the staff will work remotely.
Anyone needing to come to the Presbytery Office call Lisa on her cell at 513/885-5434.

Masks are required and sanitizer is available in the office.

All committees should plan to schedule meetings/ministry teams/work groups via Zoom.
Thank you for your cooperation. Stay safe!! We are praying for you all!!!
