THE WILENSKY CHRONICLES,
Complete set of 7 volumes
marked down to $175 from $210
| | |
This 7-volume hardcover set of spectacular mineral photography totals 500 pages and over 779 color photographs of some of the finest mineral specimens on the planet.
Stuart Wilensky, one of the most prominent American dealers in ultrafine specimens, began publishing a series of beautiful hardcover picture books in 2005. These books, intended for private distribution, depict specimens which he has sold in the past, so none of the pictured items are currently for sale (by him, at least). A dealer’s long-time reputation is based, to a large extent, on the specimens that have passed through his hands over the years, and Stuart decided that he wanted to preserve some record of that. Don't forget your friends and loved ones this Holiday Season!
Give the Gift of Mineral beauty and knowledge with a Gift Subscription!

We had a really great year here at the Mineralogical Record. In addition to our standard 6 issues per year, we were delighted to provide our subscribers with 3 FREE supplements. And we say "FREE" because these supplements are paid for by the participant or participants in or involved with the supplement, so they are, free to our subscribers. We also had 4 of our "poster series inserts" also free to the subscriber, paid for by the collector or advertiser who submitted it.
And we have more planned for next year! We don't know exactly how many supplements we will have available for 2026, but we have at least 1 or 2 currently in the works, and poster inserts are currently scheduled for every issue.
We do guarantee that you will be delighted with the continued quality of the articles and accompanying photographs! Locality articles, What's New at the major mineral shows and more!
So go to the links below and get a gift subscription for you and/or a family member or friend. And if you think about it, give Digital a try- there are many advantages. Examples of our magazines can be seen on our Samples Page.

Less than two months away!
We will be doing the usual: signing up new subscribers, taking renewals and selling back issues. AND BOOKS! We plan to have more of our hardcover books than ever at our space in Mineral City, our only location. Why? Because with the ever-increasing costs of shipping, (especially to outside the U.S.), we are getting more and more order requests for our hardcover books to be picked up at shows, to be taken back home in suitcases. Shipping a hardcover book outside the U.S. that weighs over 3 pounds can cost as much as $100 or more plus VAT, currency exchange rates, and customs/duties/tariffs! We won't have ALL the books at our booth that we have on our website, (we just don't have the space); mostly the ones that are published by the MR and just a few of the larger ones that aren't, including, possibly, yet another new IKONs book? We shall see what unfolds...
