Greetings!
Getting straight to the point, I'm going to suggest that you poke around a little bit in our catalog, below, because not all the amazing options are visible from the cover page. Want a couple of hints, though?

We’ll be auctioning off our one SIGNED COPY of Sir Paul McCartney’s amazing two-volume book The Lyrics. He only signed 175 copies, and ours is number 73. Obviously, demand is through the roof, so we thought an auction was the only fair way to sell it. Likewise, we have three deluxe copies of Renegades, SIGNED BY BOTH Barack Obama and Bruce Springsteen, as well as two copies of the deluxe boxed and SIGNED edition of Barack Obama’s A Promised Land, which will all be auctioned off. The auctions start November 21 at 11 am and go through Small Business Saturday, November 27, at 6 pm. Click on "Deluxe Signed Editions" below.

In our Special Splurges, you’ll find the absolutely dazzling three-volume set Modernist Pizza by the ever-innovative Nathan Myhrvold. It’s the ultimate pizza Geek Out compendium—and the ultimate Fabulous Foodie Gift Idea!

AND we are now carrying an almost indescribably delicious line of chocolate bars and truffles from The Naked Truffle, made by acclaimed local chef Stefan Markov. You can find much more info—and mouth-watering photos—in our catalog below, where you can also order them for store pick-up. And if you want to try them, join us on Saturday, November 20 from 2 – 4 pm (or till supplies give out) when Stefan will be at our 1716 Sherman Avenue location for a tasting!

Finally, to make things as easy as possible for you, we’re bringing back our popular Concierge Service, which enables you to have our staff pre-select books and gifts for everyone on your list that you can approve by phone, email, or in-person visit. Again this year, home delivery is also available between November 29 and December 21. Find details in the Concierge Services tab, below.

And free gift-wrapping is always part of our cheerful service.

We hope you have fun doing your holiday shopping this season, and thanks for supporting this wonderful Evanston community by keeping your holiday dollars local.

Yours,
Nina
