Unearthed: Raw Beauty officially OPEN!

Unearthed: Raw Beauty invites you to step into a world of astonishing beauty as we unveil a never-before-seen collection of Earth's most captivating minerals. Some of these specimens have never been displayed to the public before, and now they are in Los Angeles, to reveal their secrets to you.

This exhibition invites you to look closer at the breathtaking diversity and complexity of the Earth's minerals. We hope to ignite your curiosity, inspire your imagination and encourage you to explore the world of science and discovery.

Come Celebrate the Life of "Gentleman" Jack Halpern!

The mineral world lost a legend with the recent passing of "Gentleman Jack" at the age of 105 (and a half!). Jack inspired and motivated so many of us in the community, with his mentorship and friendships.

Whether you consider yourself a friend or an admirer, come join Jack's family to celebrate his life on Saturday, January 31, 4:30-7PM at the patio entrance to La Fuente on Lester St. off Oracle - look for The Arkenstone's big pink mural - in the MineralCity complex.

We still have books on sale!
