Earth Day Celebration Tomorrow! Saturday, April 20 | |
|
Here are some of the many colorful bottle caps we collected (and kept out of the landfill) that will be transformed in our recycled materials art project. All ages are welcome to participate.
| |
AED/CPR Training
Thanks to memorial gifts in memory of Patti Babij and a generous donation, we will be purchasing two AED machines, one for the main building and one for the fellowship hall.
The more people who know how to operate the AEDs, the better. They have been designed to verbally step you through the entire process and will not issue a shock unless the person needs it.
We will be offering one or more training sessions. Please use the button below to let the AED team know that you are interested in attending a session and include what days/times would be most convenient for you.

Church Renovation Work Begins
Monday, April 22- Friday, May 3
Our church will be a construction zone during the above dates as contractors replace windows and trim in the education wing. Several parking spots will be reserved for work trucks. We ask you to be very cautious if you are at church during those times. This is part of the work funded by the Disciples Holy Places Grant.
| |
|
Post construction clean up help needed on Saturday, April 27 and Saturday, May 4. There will be dust and debris from the work that we will need to clean up before Sunday worship. If you could help for about an hour on one of those Saturdays, please email Lori. We can coordinate a time.

Non-Singers Can Help Our
Ensemble Too!
Can't carry a tune in a bucket? Make it possible for one of our lovely ensemble voices, Steph, to participate by providing child care for Everett during a practice or performance. He is a delight! Practices follow worship and will be 4/28, 5/5, 5/19, 5/26. Note that they will skip practice on Mother's Day.

Learn a new skill with our AV Team
| |
In this day of streaming and watching events online, our small AV team is called on to provide sound and video for more and more events including all of our worship services, contemplative services, weddings, concerts, and recitals. They need to expand their team in order to provide these services.
We have added additional equipment, and Gary has put in a lot of hours to make the process very streamlined and automatic to the point that it is really just following a script. Please contact Gary with any questions:
