We Remain Committed
Dear Friends in Christ,
I write this reflection on March 25th , the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord. Nine months after we hear the angel Gabriel tell a very young Mary that she will conceive through "the power of the Holy Spirit," we gather for the annual celebration of the Nativity of the Lord (more commonly known as Christmas). I would like to draw on some of the high energy and intense preparation that many give to the Christmas Season, and invite you to extend a portion of that in anticipation of the Easter Season.
The journey of Lent continues and I encourage you to remain committed to the disciplines of Prayer, Fasting, and Almsgiving. Please remember our Rice Bowl Program and keep making those little daily sacrifices to contribute to it. Our collected gifts will go to support valuable programs not only abroad, but here in our local community. You can return your Rice Bowl on Holy Thursday.
Finally, please give yourself a great gift and consider celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation this week. We have communal services on Wednesday at 6:30 PM  and Saturday at 9:00 AM  where General Absolution will be offered. I will be available after all Masses the next three Sundays for individual Reconciliation. I am also glad to make an appointment to meet with you individually as well.
Let us continue to pray for one another!

Yours In Christ Our Hope,

Fr. William Heric

Catholic Relief Services: Rice Bowl Collection

Please continue participating in the Lenten journey of prayer, fasting, and giving by filling your Rice Bowl and attending our Lenten Soup Suppers. Each Sunday after the 7:00 PM Mass, we learn about a country where Catholic Relief Services is active. This Sunday, March 31st, will feature a special collection for CRS. Contact the Outreach Commission to learn more.
