Join us in celebrating our Caregiver and Volunteers of the Month for July 2023!

These individuals are very special to us here at Alzheimer's Arkansas, and we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for all they do to make the quality of life for others better!

“ I have spent most of my career working with the geriatric population, and the one thing that became most clear to me is that many people do not know what the resources are as they age. In trying to help people stay home and age well at home, I found that the caregivers are the ones bearing most of the burden and needing or seeking most of the resources. When I met Carolyn and the staff at Alzheimer’s Arkansas , I knew I had found a group of people that I would enjoy volunteering with who had the same desires and values that I did.

I love volunteering and helping with people that are near and dear to my heart, and being able to give back to the community in a meaningful way. I am so thankful to be involved with Alzheimer’s Arkansas!”

Lisa loves taking care of her loved ones or someone that needs her. She cares about people very strongly, so she says "I'm here to help."

You can always expect a positive and attentive interaction from Ms. Germany. It is a rare type of person who is not only able to assume the role of caregiver but also take on that title without hesitation!
