IT'S TIME TO RALLY UP YOUR TEAM TO WIN!
Our Team Rally Challenge is heating up and there’s still time to be entered to win!

Register today and ask friends and family to join you for this year's Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer! Every new team member that registers and raises $100 before July 22 will be entered into the draw to win custom-designed shirts for your team!

This fall, Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer is thrilled to welcome participants back to a local walk in their community! Join one of our 17 confirmed locations across Canada or 'Walk Where You Are'. Together, we can come together to raise awareness and funds to help create a world where bladder cancer is just a memory.
Bladder Cancer Canada participated in the annual Canadian Urological Association Conference.
The scientific program included various educational sessions, hands-on courses and state-of-the-art lectures. From underactive bladders to post-pandemic urology, the feature lecture, Refining the Gap Between Knowledge and Practice in the Treatment of MIBC, was presented by one of our Medical Advisory Board Members, Past-Chair Dr. Wassim Kassouf.
The opportunity to share knowledge and new breakthroughs in potential treatment options was amazing. We will share information in our upcoming webinar series.
NEW PATIENT GUIDEBOOK
New Patient Guidebook Available for Patients with Upper Tract Urothelial Carcinoma!

This new patient guidebook was designed by caregivers and patients - those with upper tract urothelial carcinoma, and offers support, encouragement and tips on how to deal with procedures and treatments for this type of cancer. For those of you with this diagnosis, you'll better understand the disease itself, what to expect as you move forward, treatments you may be offered and how to handle potential side-effects.

PATIENT SURVEY
At BCC, patient support is a cornerstone of our mission and that includes understanding the evolving needs of our community.
We’re looking for bladder cancer patients and caregivers to complete our Patient Insight Survey to ensure we support patients in the best way possible.
Meet Karen!

Volunteer Roles:
One2One Peer Support, Patient Education Meeting, Program & Volunteers Committee Member, Online Discussion Forum, Volunteer Coordination Team.

Fun fact about Karen:
On my third trip to Africa, I had the thrill of touching an elephant I was walking with. Fully expecting to feel leathery skin when I touched her, I was totally surprised to feel bristles! That was her hair! Bristly hair keeps elephants cool. Who knew!

Why Karen is passionate about volunteering for BCC:
I benefitted so much from One2One Peer Support 4 years ago that I wanted to pay it forward by becoming a Peer Support volunteer. BCC matters to me and I want it to be there for others for years to come so, when other opportunities came along to volunteer, I said yes.
Warm Welcome to our New Volunteers:
Selena D'Oria &
Hasu Patel!
