2021 – A Year of Strength & Courage
Hot off the Press! BCC has just released the 2021 Annual Report.
Read all about the strength of our patients and the amazing commitment of our volunteers. We continued to grow and were responsive to the changing needs of the patients and the bladder cancer community. Increasing our outreach efforts and offering more opportunities to connect, we reached an all time high in newsletter subscribers. Thanks to YOU we can continue to provide support to patients and their families, increase awareness and fund innovative research to achieve our vision – a world in which bladder cancer is just a memory.

During the month of May, participants across Canada made the commitment to lace ‘em up for the 12th annual Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer. Every participant that registered and raised $100 was entered to win a fun pair of red sneakers or a $50 Amazon gift card! Thank you to everyone who participated in the Lace ‘Em Up Challenge and CONGRATULATIONS to our winner, Stephen Wilson!! There is still time to get involved and be a part of the fun!

Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer is so excited to be offering a hybrid walk on September 24 and 25, 2022, with 20 confirmed in-person walk locations across Canada. Join us as we celebrate our 12th anniversary and help us to raise awareness and support bladder cancer patients across Canada.

Register today and join as we walk to create a world where bladder cancer is just a memory.
PATIENT SURVEY
At BCC, patient support is a cornerstone of our mission and that includes understanding the evolving needs of our community.
We’re looking for bladder cancer patients and caregivers to complete our Patient Insight Survey to ensure we are supporting patients in the best way possible.
HEAR HOW IT ALL BEGAN...
Our Bladder Cancer Canada Podcast returns once again with an interview with BCC Co-Founder, Jack Moon!

Reflecting on men's health & our humble beginnings on Father's Day
To celebrate Father's Day, we talk with Jack Moon about the humble beginnings of BCC, its phenomenal growth over the past 12 years, and about Jack’s dream for the future.

This podcast will be available on June 19 on Spotify or Buzzsprout.
BCC SUPPORT GROUPS
Support groups serve as welcoming and non-judgmental spaces in which bladder cancer patients and caregivers can share their worries, challenges and questions with others who have been in their shoes.

We are honoured to have volunteers offer various support groups including local groups in Edmonton, Hamilton, Vancouver, Ottawa, and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), and national groups such as Women’s Only and a Francophone group.

If you would like to join one of these support groups, please email Theresa today at theresab@bladdercancercanada.org

We are also looking for volunteers to host a Caregiver Support Group. If you would like to get involved, please contact Theresa.
Meet Robby!

Volunteer Role:
Walk Lead
Fun fact about Robby:
Certified ice-resurfacing technician, ie Zamboni driver. An ice whisperer, if you will. It's really more than just 27 right-hand turns at 9km/h.

Why Robby is passionate about volunteering for BCC:
Meeting fun, motivating people while advancing the cause - we're bigger than the sum of our parts. Celebrating our survivors as we commemorate those we've lost... and all the while educating the world. See something, say something! Go Team, Go!
Warm Welcome to our
