For all who are ill, and those who care for them. May God’s Holy Light bring them healing, strength, and hope.
For all who have died: especially for Starr Palumbo, cousin of Mary Baardse; and Phil Bange, whose funeral was celebrated here on Saturday; that they may share in the light and peace of God’s presence forever, and God’s consolation may be with their families and friends in their grief.
We invite you to complete our Prayer Request Form or call/email the parish office at 206-523-6776 to add names to the prayer list. Names for the petition of the sick will remain for four weeks unless otherwise specified.

I am sharing with you pictures and a video of the installation of the new door at the chapel in Rancho Largo, a community outside Yali. The door was just installed recently, and people from the community are showing their gratitude through song. This song says: "Together as brothers and sisters, members of the same church, we continue walking with the help of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is a long journey, but we can not continue without the help of Our Lord." Thank you!

"The Trinity" by Kelly Latimore
|
|
This past weekend, we displayed the icon “The Trinity” by Kelly Latimore. Kelly Latimore is an accomplished writer of contemporary icons. His icon “The Trinity” is based on the famous Russian icon by Andrei Rublev, except that this one features a multicultural trio of women as the three angels. The Trinity depicts the three angels who visited Abraham at the Oak of Mamre (Genesis 18:1-8), but the painting is full of symbolism and is interpreted as an icon of the Holy Trinity.
At the time of Rublev, the Holy Trinity was the embodiment of spiritual unity, peace, harmony, mutual love and humility.” As we honor the Most Holy Trinity, not only at Mass, but every day of our lives, let’s remember that God the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit, the Holy Trinity is in each one of us.
1 Corinthians 3:16 – “Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?"

Give and it will be given to you.” – Luke 6:38

The campaign for the 2023 Annual Catholic Appeal is winding down, but our efforts are ramping up! Like our Lord, our work is continual. As of today, together, we have raised $98,034.79. Every penny is a mustard seed of hope as they support our Ministries of Formation, Outreach and Administration! These ministries are how we form ourselves as Catholics, help those in need and support each other. Every contribution counts. If you have already made your gifts, we ask you openly share your support of the appeal with others. Let us together, take this culture of loving through giving, that Christ has taught us, and grow it throughout the year! Our Lord, through his love, reminds us to “Give, and it will be given to you.” Luke 6:23
Thank you For Supporting the Annual Catholic Appeal!
WE HAVE HIT OUR FIRST ACA GOAL!
Congratulations on hitting the most important of the goals, the parish ACA. Now everything else that comes in is for the rebate. Please continue to give.
It is safe, secure, and convenient.
