Now through the end of the year, shoppers in-store and online can donate to BBBS, and proceeds raised will benefit agencies aligned with Nordstrom Rack stores across the country. Assets are available in Brandfolder, and we encourage you to promote the campaign across your social media channels. To make the campaign an even bigger success, you can stop by your local Rack stores, thank them for the partnership, and offer to meet with the store teams to share more about the BBBS mission.

BBBSA will be hosting Capitol Hill Day in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. This free event will take place at the Watergate Hotel at 2650 Virginia Ave, NW, and on Capitol Hill. This will be an exciting opportunity for BBBS agencies and our external stakeholders to come together to learn about our organization’s federal policy priorities, strengthen relationships with their members of Congress, and build the advocacy capacity of the BBBS network.

We are proud of the remarkable Bigs & Littles from across the country who celebrated Thanksgiving on the grandest stage of all, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! Native American Heritage Toolkit Available
As we wrap up Native American Heritage Month, let's continue to honor and acknowledge the Indigenous peoples on whose ancestral lands we live, work, and thrive. By exploring our new toolkit, you'll discover that acknowledging the land is a transformative act that works to undo the intentional erasure of Indigenous Peoples. It is the first step in decolonizing land relations and an active step towards practicing awareness, justice, and allyship. Together, let's foster respect, understanding, and gratitude in preserving the diverse traditions and histories of our nation's original stewards.

The Humana Foundation + Big Brother Big Sister Partnership
We are excited to announce our national partnership with The Humana Foundation Inc., which is set to invest a $4.9 million grant to aid in our mental health programs and initiatives, including mental health first aid training for mentors. This work will begin in the southeast with opportunities to leverage these learnings nationwide. Thanks to Gary Friedman, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana, for stewarding this opportunity and his continued work to further our mission.
