Digital Update!

The long-awaited digital version of Volume 29, Number 4 (1998), "The Sweet Home Mine" is finally available for purchase! This unique issue has not been available in print from the Mineralogical Record for a number of years. Print versions can be found available from some dealers who handle re-sales of magazines and occasionally they can be found on eBay, but they are few and far between. You can purchase this issue by clicking on the above image or go here:

And speaking of digital issues, with the "Sweet Home" issue now available, we only have two more issues (supplements) to be digitized and then we are finished; all of our magazine issues will be digitized! With the recent increases in shipping prices, taxes, tariffs and customs, our digital issues have become very popular. There are no shipping charges and the purchased issue is available for immediate download. And along with being able to search digital issues, enlarge photos and fonts, and now some of the issues even come with video links, the advantages are "virtually" endless. View and/or purchase our digital issues here:

This brings to mind our next point: the value of having a Digital Subscription, especially a combination paper/digital subscription; what we call a "Bundle". Currently $119/year for U.S. Subscribers and $179/year for Subscribers outside the U.S. OR, you can just ADD ON a digital subscription to your current paper subscription for just $24/year. You have all of the advantages listed above, plus, you get the digital version before the paper version arrives for just $2/month! Digital-only subscriptions are currently just $54/year, anywhere in the world you can get the internet. To order a "Bundle" or an add-on, go here:

On Friday, March 7th, 2026, prior to their "First Friday" event, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County hosted a special VIP preview hour. This celebration honored contributors and supporters, with special invitations given to the California Mineral Community and other mineral collectors. Subscribers can read about the event in our up-coming May - June issue of 2026, with special additions available in the digital issue.
