City Launches New Magazine
The City’s new magazine, Our Margate, is coming to you in the mail soon. Look out for a new 20-page publication launched to increase the City’s public outreach to Margate residents. The magazine delivers information about City news, summer park programs, senior activities, City projects, public safety tips, and more. It will be published quarterly.

Southgate Park Reopens
Southgate Park, located at 425 SW 64 Avenue, has reopened to the public after being closed for renovations. The upgrades included removing old playground equipment and sand surfacing, installing a new playground designed for ages 2-5 and 5-12 with a full shade canopy, a new fitness trail with six fitness stations, and a new chilled drinking fountain with a bottle filler feature. 
Tree Giveaway is this Saturday
Get there early this Saturday, May 1, starting at 8 a.m., for the Tree Giveaway taking place on Margate Boulevard and 441 (entrance on Seton Drive). The event is exclusively for Margate residents, and proof of residency is required.
Apply Now for Home of the Month
The City of Margate is revamping the Home of the Month program and is looking forward to your nominations. The program recognizes residents who go above and beyond to keep their homes’ curb appeal and make their property an asset to the community. Winners will receive a specially designed sign to be placed in front of their homes and a $50 gift certificate to a local hardware store.
