Annual Meeting and Awards
The membership voted to change Bylaw XII, Section 1, moving the Annual Meeting to coincide with the association's fiscal and leadership year (January 1st - December 31st).

The change will allow flexibility for future Board of Directors to schedule the Annual Meeting in either December or January. This year's meeting is planned for January. We hope to hold an in-person event, but we will monitor conditions and make a decision closer to the event.

Additionally, an Annual Awards Task Force was formed and chaired by Ken Jackson. The task force refined our existing awards (REALTOR® of the Year, Rookie REALTOR® of the Year, and Affiliate of the Year awards) and added the Good Neighbor community service award and President's Award. The task force also simplified the nomination process.

Watch for nomination forms to be sent out soon.
Clear Cooperation Listing Policy Reminder

In accordance with the Greater Pee Dee MLS Rules and Regulations:

It has come to our attention that some agents have been advertising "Coming Soon" listings on social media, and/or other forms of media.

We do not allow "Coming Soon" listings.

Remember, once you have a signed listing agreement, it must be input in our MLS System within 24 hours of date signed. If you do not have a signed listing agreement, you should not be advertising the property at all.

Section 1.01 - Clear Cooperation
Within one (1) business day of marketing a property to the public, the listing broker must submit the listing to the MLS for cooperation with other MLS participants. Public marketing includes, but is not limited to, flyers displayed in windows, yard signs, digital marketing on public facing websites, brokerage website displays (including IDX and VOW), digital communications marketing (email blasts), multi-brokerage listing sharing networks, and applications available to the general public. (Adopted 11/19)
