The Mindfulness Collaboratory (created by Esmilda Abreu and Rhonda Schaller from Pratt Institute) is excited to invite you to learn about our upcoming program, the Mindfulness Collaboratory: Leading by Intention. This program will focus on contemplative leaders setting intentions to create resilient artistic communities through individual meditation skill share, collective support, and mindful leadership. Participants will meet periodically over the course of 2023 to learn, meditate, discuss, grow, and lead together.
Info Session Dates: November 9, 6 – 6:50 PM EST, November 15, 8 – 8:50 AM EST, and December 6, 6 – 6:50 PM EST
Program: Free - Participation costs underwritten by a grant from the Emily Hall Tremaine Foundation.

The Artists Thrive website has
a growing collection of stories from artists and organizations like YOU that go hand-in-hand with our Self-Assessment tool.

Daily Meditation & Contemplative Practice Offerings: Breathing breaks, reflection journaling, monthly morning practice, midweek mantras, mindful drawing, and meditation. This is a virtual offering from Pratt Institute and is free & open to all.

Artist Linda Enfante-Lyons shares how she maintains balance in her practice by both protecting studio time and also getting out of the studio to generate new inspiration.

The first step to get on a path to thriving is to assess where you are at today, and then make a plan and set goals to improve on your areas of interest. Surveys are available for individual artists and those that work with artists.

GALLIM Moving Artist Residency is a process-based NYC studio residency for BIPOC movement artists. Artists must be 18 - 30 years old and can identify as choreographers, dance filmmakers, educators, and performers with a Marley floor practice. This residency also offers availability and support for artists that are also parents.
Deadline: November 4, 2022
Program Duration: One or two weeks during Jan 9 - May 5, 2023
Grant Amount: Free housing, $750 stipend and childcare stipend

Australian and International artists from various fields – visual art, installation, multimedia, performance, literature, music, photography, film making, curating – are invited to submit entries for the BigCi Environmental Awards 2022. Submissions must show how your art will respond to the environmental crisis.
Application Deadline: November 4, 2022
Grant Amount: $4,000 and four weeks free stay in Australia
Submission Fee: $35
