Our innovative adventure is called Making Travel Meaningful, which provides your travellers with enriching experiences that make a difference. Our pilot program in the jungles of Subic — just 3 hours away from Metro Manila — offers a unique opportunity to immerse in local culture.
During this journey, travellers will have the chance to engage with one of the oldest tribes in the Philippines, the Aetas, learning about their traditions, customs and way of life. Following this, they will explore the lush forests of Bataan in Subic Bay through a guided hike led by members of the same community. Here, they will gain insights into the tribe's deep connection with the land and learn about various preservation efforts — both for the environment and their community.

To extend the experience, travellers also have the option to embark on a short trip to Pampanga, known as one of the food capitals of the country. During the excursion, they will indulge in a gastronomic feast showcasing authentic Filipino cuisine. From savoury dishes to sweet treats in long-established restaurants and side street eateries, this culinary adventure promises to be a delight for all senses.
Our new program offers a perfect blend of cultural immersion, adventure and responsible travel that is sure to create lasting memories as travellers contribute to the preservation of the local environment and traditions. A Wellness Indulgence with Traditional Caress
|
|
Immersing oneself in rejuvenating programs has become a vital escape from life's daily hustle and bustle. However, amidst the myriad of offerings, many share similar relaxation experiences. That's why we've thoughtfully selected these hyperlocal, traditional Filipino therapies to provide your guests with one-of-a-kind wellness retreats.
Hilot
One can experience the soothing touch of hilot, a traditional Filipino massage that utilises ancient arts and practices passed on from one generation to another. Traditional hilot must be done by an experienced practitioner, as the practice involves the healer’s ‘energy’ when treating a patient, requiring a careful study of the latter’s condition. The experience combines gentle stretches, palm pressure points and herbal medication to release tension, promote relaxation and healing — ultimately bringing the body back to harmony.
Dagdagay Foot Massage
A full body rejuvenation isn’t complete without focus on the feet. Introducing the ancient art of Dagdagay, a traditional Ifugao foot massage. An interesting facet of this massage is its origin: originally developed to soothe the locals’ tired feet after a full day’s work while trekking up and down the famed Rice Terraces — so just imagine the total relief your guests can indulge in. As for the actual experience, it uses bamboo sticks to stimulate nerve endings and target pressure points on the soles, leaving your guests feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
Kawa Bath
Elevating the experience of a relaxing warm bath — with a touch of quirkiness and a lot of cultural charm — the Kawa bath provides a unique rejuvenation both for the body and spirit. The kawa or cauldron is originally repurposed from tubs used in the sugar industry, hence its significant size that can fit a person. These large tubs offer a luxurious soak like no other. The preparation takes about 45 minutes to an hour, ensuring the perfect water temperature for a relaxing experience. Infused with fragrant flowers and herbs, the bath invigorates the senses, soothing tired muscles and enveloping your guests in a tranquil atmosphere.
Whether your travellers are seeking meaningful adventures or mindful relaxations, our new offerings are tailored to fulfil their desires. Together, let's embark on a collaborative journey to create authentic experiences and lasting memories.
