A couple of years ago The Next Stop began to contemplate how we could grow our influence to include others in this special population beyond our on-site program. We recognize that the adult special needs population is an underserved one. Many are vulnerable to lonely and uninspired lives if they do not have the intentional stimulation that is needed for active minds, active bodies and active spirits.

Because The Next Stop’s programming is intended to do just that, we were motivated to engage in a novel endeavor called The Next Stop Neighborhood -- a subscription based website designed to virtually connect people, engage them and provide them with purposeful and meaningful daily activities. Adults with special needs and caregivers everywhere can join and have access to our Activity Hub.

We are so excited to introduce The Next Stop Neighborhood to you! We have been in a soft launch for several months and plan to officially launch on November 1, 2023. Watch this video and visit the website to learn more!

The Next Stop is always encouraging our members to "say yes" to new opportunities, new experiences and new adventures. Trying new things is a practical and positive way to grow. This year's collaborative art piece is

The services The Next Stop provides to the adult special needs population in our area and beyond relies primarily on the support of our community. So much of this support is through active engagement in the fundraising opportunities we offer.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to those who enthusiastically contributed to these efforts by sponsoring and/or participating in our golf tournament, bidding on and purchasing our silent auction items, purchasing raffle tickets, making a donation and/or volunteering your time + effort. We are thrilled to announce that our collective efforts has raised over $82,000 for The Next Stop!
