The annual Materials Research Outreach Symposium (MROP) will be held on January 26th and 27th (Wednesday and Thursday) 2022 at the Corwin Pavilion at UCSB and is our premier event for showcasing new scientific programs at UCSB and outside to our industrial partners.

MROP is an annual event, sponsored by our Materials Research Laboratory (MRL), which is the National Science Foundation Materials Research Science and Engineering Center (NSF MRSEC) at UCSB.

MROP brings industrial scientists and R&D leaders together with UCSB faculty and a few faculty members and scientists from elsewhere to the UCSB campus. The objective is to showcase the materials research strengths, highlight recent advances and applications in the industrial sector, and provide an opportunity for networking among academic researchers and industrial scientists studying a broad range of materials. http://www.mrl.ucsb.edu/mrop2022.  Please check back later for updates to the meeting agenda.
