Message From Our Director
Welcome to our new newsletter!

Healthier Boynton Beach will be sending regular updates on our news, events, and successes in helping caregivers across Boynton Beach, mainly in zip code 33435.

As a reminder, we’re a multi-year, community-driven initiative to inspire, support and improve the lives of caregivers. Our focus is on three caregivers-related areas: 1) awareness, 2) education, and 3) health and wellness. Read more about our initiative here .

There’s many ways for you to get involved with Healthier Boynton Beach. You can join one of our committees, volunteer or advocate for us. Also, we encourage you to take our survey and, if you are a caregiver in our community, to register with us.

Most of all, I encourage you to learn more about us. Visit our new website (see below), attend our events, and feel free to contact me any time at: [email protected] or at 561-732-2377 ext. 128.

Best Regards,

Ricky Petty

Packed House For Our Caregivers Luncheon

In celebration of National Family Caregivers month, dozens of people attended our Second Annual Caregivers Recognition Luncheon on Nov. 13 at Benvenuto Restaurant in Boynton Beach. We recognized the tremendous work caregivers do every day. We thank you!
Spotlight On: Family Care Aware Project
We have awarded eight mini-grants to Boynton Beach organizations to provide services for thousands of caregivers in our community. New grant opportunities are coming soon. One of our previous grants was given to Connect to Greatness, which runs the Family Care Aware Project. Here’s a glimpse at what the program is all about.
