Our New Website Is Finally Up!?
We gave the "!?" because it is a "wow" and an "I'm not sure it is real and will stay up!" After all, we have been in a situation where our site has been out of our control since June 24, 2022! That's a long time! And, I think I was on the phone to the Philippines almost all of that time.
The change was required because our old "builder" [the software that one uses to create and maintain a website] was legacy [kind of like me, old and unable to be maintained, or repaired]. So we purchased the builder they suggested, in a sister company. That meant that we were down for 10 days just to transfer the ForeverInStitches.com domain to the new, sister company. And that's just a part of what went on. But that's not why I'm writing this.
There have been some major changes to our website.
It no longer has our logos at the top left corner. But it Ruth & I haven't aged one bit, as the picture is the same one!
There are fewer selections across the top. That's because we "cleaned up" a lot of the old material, and relocated others. For example, Innova, "Digitized Designs", "Raggedy Ruth Designs", "Photo Transfer", and "Labels" are all under the title, "Products". Additionally, many other items were swept under "About Us".
We changed the "Newsletters" item. Only items from part of the 2022 year are there. It was too difficult to bring over the six years of history. And although all newsletters are under "Newsletters", we also have a "Blog".
