CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS
It's Time for Camp... Camp Solomon Schechter, Neveh Shalom Camper Incentives and Scholarship Funds! We want kids to go to camp! There are three scholarship opportunities for campers and their families:
  • Thanks to the generosity of the Kahn family, first-time campers from Neveh Shalom are eligible for $180 off their first summer's tuition.  Apply directly through CSS at  info@campschechter.org  to apply for the CNS Judith and Garry Kahn Camp Fund.
  • Thanks to the generosity of the Foundation for Jewish Camping and the Jewish Federation of Greater Portland , first-time campers from the Greater Portland area who are attending Aleph Rishon, Bet or Gimmel are eligible for a One Happy Camper campership of up to $1,000, and there are even some available for Jewish day school families!  Contact Carolyn D'Albora, Registrar, for more information about both of these camperships at info@campschechter.org.  Don't wait too long, though, because there are a limited number of each.

  • Neveh Shalom offers need-based scholarships to members who attend Camp Solomon Schechter. All returning and first-time campers are eligible to apply. First-time campership recipients may combine funds with CNS scholarships. The deadline for applying for assistance from Congregation Neveh Shalom is March 4, 2015.  Download scholarship forms here.
