Stronger Together:

Your Impact & What's Ahead

When our community shows up, lives change. See what you made possible and how you can help families through the holidays.

HOW YOUR SUPPORT CREATES REAL IMPACT

Jasmine, a single mother, is thankful for Frisco Family Services for being there during one of the hardest moments of her life. She was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to undergo treatment.

Despite these personal and medical challenges, she is also enrolled in a Master's Program. Her treatment left her unable to work the jobs she depended on, even as household bills continued to rise.

Still, she held onto her goals—determined to finish her master’s degree in May and provide stability for her family.

When she reached out, YOUR support made immediate IMPACT. Because of you, Jasmine received rental and utility assistance, access to the Market for groceries, and personalized resume support. She now has an updated resume and job leads tailored to her skills and current physical limitations.

Your generosity didn’t just meet urgent needs—it helped Jasmine keep moving forward. That’s the power of community.

WAYS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Giving Tuesday (December 2)

GivingTuesday is a global day of generosity held each year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. It’s a simple idea: people everywhere come together to give, volunteer, and lift up local nonprofits.

Year-End-Giving

Year-end gifts help Frisco Family Services finish the year strong for neighbors facing hunger and crisis—and they may also offer tax advantages. Because FFS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, donations made by December 31, 2025 may be tax-deductible on your 2025 federal return (filed in 2026), to the extent allowed by law.

Help ensure every family has food, stability and support this season.

Giving Beyond Cash

  • Gifts from a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) can be recommended to support FFS.
  • Appreciated stock: donating shares you’ve held >1 year may avoid capital gains and may be deductible at fair market value.
  • IRA Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs): if you’re 70½+, you can give directly from an IRA to a charity like FFS; talk with your advisor about whether a QCD fits your situation.

We’ll send a donation receipt for your records. Please consult your tax advisor for guidance on your specific circumstances.

Spread holiday cheer and support your community this season!

We are giving away $50 gift card/certificate to anyone who donates $50 worth of Christmas décor to Frisco Resale or volunteers for 2 hours or more.

Your donation or time directly supports neighbors in crisis while giving gently loved holiday items a second life.

Supplies are limited, so don’t wait—give back, get involved, and enjoy a little extra holiday shopping on us!

For more than 30 years, Frisco Family Services has helped members of our Frisco and Frisco ISD communities who are facing hunger, homelessness, and other urgent needs improve their quality of life and achieve self-sufficiency.
