CELEBRATING 40 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE

We recently hosted our 40th anniversary celebration at our Midtown Miami health center.

The evening was attended by community partners, local officials, and supporters, and included milestone dedications, the launch of “The Light Remains” memorial, and the health center’s historical timeline.

In recognition of over three decades of leadership, a Lifetime Service and Achievement Award was presented to Rick Siclari by Keri Kratofil and the health center's Board of Directors. Moreover, City of Miami Commissioner Sabina Covo on behalf of the City of Miami presented a proclamation recognizing September 29 as Care Resource Day. 

FOSTERING COLLABORATION AND CONNECTION

Our third "Breakfast with the CEO" occurred in September.

This intimate breakfast gathering brings together staff members from various health centers and departments, offering them a platform to share their insights, ask pressing questions, and gain valuable perspectives.

BRIDGING GAPS IN ACCESSING HEALTH SERVICES

We hosted our first Transgender Clinic & Health Awareness event at our Midtown Miami health center. Working alongside an array of community partners, this clinic helped to provide no-cost behavioral health, medical, dental, linkage services, and more for our transgender community. As part of our Project STrenGth program, this clinic further bridges the gaps in accessing support and healthcare services.

UPLIFTING PATIENTS MOST IN NEED

Our Housing and Case Management Services team continues to provide crucial assistance to individuals living with HIV/AIDS.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND IMPACT

Members of our outreach team were at The Greater Miami LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce (MDGLCC)'s Health and Wellness Council's luncheon at The Intercontinental sharing health resources and information with chamber members, and more.

Our health center team was present at the US Conference on HIV/AIDS (USCHA) alongside an array of community partners, including the Positive People Network, the Turk and Caicos AIDS Awareness Foundation, and Community Resource Centers.



We were out in full force during the Aqua Foundation for Women’s TransCon hosted at the Scott Galvin Community Center in North Miami.
