Let's get into it!

Spotlight

New Builder Partner: Gilkar Design + Build

We’re thrilled to shine the spotlight this month on our new partnership with Gilkar Design + Build LLC, an innovative builder known for their thoughtful layouts, luxurious finishes, and timeless modern design. Together, we brought to life one of their newest builds — 1852 Griffith Rd in Falls Church, VA, a breathtaking 7,000+ sq. ft. home that blends sophistication with comfort in every corner.

From the moment we stepped inside, our team knew this property called for a staging design that would highlight its craftsmanship while giving buyers a true sense of “home.” Our vision was to create a warm, modern transitional aesthetic that complemented Gilkar’s architectural details — from the soaring ceilings and wood accents to the open-concept flow connecting the main living areas.

The dining area was staged to feel inviting yet elevated — spaces that could easily transition from quiet family moments to elegant entertaining.

Moving into the main living area, our focus was on showcasing the seamless connection between the family room and the kitchen. This open-concept space is truly the heart of the home, so we chose furnishings that emphasized both comfort and flow.

The primary suite was all about tranquility. The staging highlighted the room’s generous proportions while keeping it restful and inviting — the kind of retreat every homeowner dreams of.

Lead Stager Maria shared her thoughts on the project:

This home featured a stunning open floor plan with a modern transitional style. Bold design elements—like the dramatic dark stone in the dining room, the deep gray accent wall in the primary bedroom, and the sleek black fireplace—gave the home a strong, masculine character.

To bring balance, I incorporated lighter fabrics and soft textures throughout the furnishings. This added warmth and elegance without taking away from the modern edge.

It was such a joy to stage this home and see how every detail came together so beautifully.”

Our goal throughout this project was to let the home’s design shine while ensuring buyers could easily envision themselves living there — cooking dinner in the open kitchen, working from the quiet office, or relaxing in the peaceful owner’s suite.

The collaboration with Gilkar Design + Build was truly seamless, and we’re so proud of how our staging enhanced their incredible craftsmanship. Together, we created a home that not only looked beautiful but also told a story — one of modern living, comfort, and style perfectly in tune with today’s buyers.

This home has already been drawing a lot of attention, and it’s easy to see why. With its stunning design, thoughtful staging, and unbeatable location, we have no doubt it will find its new owners very soon.

SWEET SUCCESS

Sold in just 3 Days!

We always get excited when our staging does more than simply make a home look beautiful—it truly elevates it. That was exactly the case at 8304 Bradley Blvd in Bethesda, a stunningly renovated all-brick home that captivated buyers from the moment it hit the market. Every detail of the staging was designed to complement the home’s natural elegance and highlight its spacious, light-filled layout.

The result? A powerful first impression that drew in multiple offers and helped the property go under contract for $1,295,000—over the asking price.

This four-bedroom, 4.5-bath residence spans about 4,040 square feet on a .62-acre lot surrounded by mature trees. Its open, light-filled layout includes an expansive kitchen with a massive island, an adjacent dining and family room, and a sunroom or atrium space that brings the outdoors in.

When we brought our staging vision in, we focused on highlighting the home’s natural light, elegant finishes, and versatile layout. Thoughtfully placed furniture, art, and accessories helped emphasize flow between public and private spaces, and underscored both the formal and casual areas in harmony.

Buyers noticed. The strong emotional connection staging can create amplified the home’s best features—and helped drive competitive offers that pushed the final sale above asking.

Congratulations to the sellers, the agent, and our staging team for making this success story happen. This kind of result is what fuels us: when staging doesn’t just enhance, it helps exceed expectations.

TRICK OF THE TRADES

Buffing Away Tape Damage with Beeswax

From time to time, even the most careful staging prep can leave a little mark—especially when tape is involved. Whether it’s securing protective wrap or labeling during transport, adhesive residue can sometimes damage furniture surfaces like leather or wood, leaving behind dull spots or sticky patches.

Our team has a simple but effective fix! When tape leaves its mark on leather, we gently buff the area with a soft rag and a small amount of natural beeswax. The beeswax helps restore the surface’s natural sheen, conditions the leather, and smooths out any visible scuffs.

This quick remedy not only revives the piece but also helps it look showroom-ready again. It’s one of those small details that keeps our staging inventory looking polished and professional—no matter how many moves it’s been through!

BEHIND THE SCENES

A Fantastic Turnout at Our Warehouse Sale!

Our recent Warehouse Sale was a huge success — and such a fun day for everyone involved!

It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and meet new ones who came ready to find their next favorite piece. We loved watching customers light up as they discovered unique items to bring warmth and character into their homes — the same pieces that once made our staged properties shine!

Our team worked hard behind the scenes to prepare, organize, and showcase everything, but seeing everyone enjoy themselves made it all worth it. It truly felt like a community event — full of laughter, great conversations, and happy shoppers leaving with incredible deals.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us! We can’t wait to do it all again. Stay tuned for details on our next Warehouse Sale — we promise it’ll be just as exciting!
