Dear Friend of the RCD,

We’ve set a big goal: Raise $10,000 by the end of the year : $5,000 to invest in projects that prepare our community for increased fire danger and $5,000 to support our many other programs. We can’t achieve it without you.

This holiday season, make Giving Tuesday, November 27th, your day of charitable giving to the RCD. Your donation goes far with us. Each dollar you donate reaches your community directly and is leveraged 160 times !
Donate to Support Our Goal

The RCD has a goal of raising $5,000 to support the development of fire-preparedness programs. We aim to work within west county neighborhoods to write community wildfire prevention plans, support landowners in creating defensible space, and fund fuel load reduction projects and others to better manage coastal forestlands.
The RCD has a goal of raising $5,000 to support our numerous existing programs that protect and improve our local natural resources. We ask for your support in enhancing our watersheds' health, improving habitat for wildlife, preparing farms for drought, connecting students with local agriculture, funding climate-smart activities on farms, and much more.
What is Giving Tuesday?

Each year on #GivingTuesday, organizations like Gold Ridge RCD rally their supporters for a day of maximum impact.

Following Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday on November 27 provides an opportunity for people around the world to financially support what matters most to them — and share that support through social media.
How You Can Join the Fun

Please consider joining the fun so we can reach our transformative goal on November 27.

And, since #GivingTuesday relies on the limitless potential of social media, don’t forget to share, tag us, and use the hashtags #GivingTuesday and #GoldRidgeRCD.

We need you to do two things on November 27:
  • Make a donation.
  • Share your love for Gold Ridge RCD on social media.

Busy that day? You can also make a donation right now that will be counted on #GivingTuesday. Donations will also be accepted through the end of the year after the event.
From all of us at your RCD, thank you for your support — on #GivingTuesday and every single day you help conserve Sonoma County's essential natural resources.

Remember, your donation is tax-deductible.
