Our Promise Outreach Day

Visitors of Our Promise had fun celebrating the outreach center's re-opening during Outreach Day and were provided many goods and services. Community members, neighbors and local support came together for a day of delicious food, games, supplies, giveaways, dancing, yoga and more! We even had visits from the Navigating Hope and Hope One vans!
We warmly thank the following supporters of our Outreach Day, who had a key role in helping make the day a huge success:
Volunteers from Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill

A big thank you to the volunteers from the office of Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill. Many hands make light work and we were thrilled to have the help!
Great Swamp Greenhouses

Thank you Great Swamp Greenhouses, Gillette, for providing an abundance of flowers to beautify the grounds for our special day! The flowers provided some extra joy for our visitors!
The following local food establishments provided a beautiful array of delicious dishes for our Outreach Day visitors:

A very special thank-you to Kristi Dimogerodakis of Verilli's for her tremendous help in coordinating all the delicious edible donations!
Labor of Love

This Labor Day holiday brought hope, security and three homes on the shared Promising Solutions Campus to 12 single women in need. It also brought a team together of 13 Making Moves Matter volunteers to clean, furnish, decorate, and spruce up with finishing touches, along with a lot of love thrown in, to prepare the homes for their new residents.

  • 3 vacuums assembled
  • 56 glasses washed

  • 108 plates & bowls put away
  • many floors swept
  • 2 ovens scrubbed
  • 3 refrigerators sanitized
  • 48 towels folded
