This past month, the Our Promise State Campaign officially launched statewide. For the last sixty-plus years, Our Promise brings together state employee donors, volunteers, and nonprofits to care for California communities and causes.
  • Almost 300,000 state employees support charitable programs through Our Promise.
  • In the previous campaign year, over 5.9 million dollars were raised statewide!

  • And, in 2019, Fresno State raised $23,000!

Our Promise has gone virtual.

Our Promise is now available through an online giving portal, making giving even easier than before! You can create your Our Promise account at Cal Employee Connect.

The 2020 Our Promise "How To" Guide makes it easy for all state employees to participate in the Our Promise campaign. Here, you can find a list of all certified nonprofit partners, listed alphabetically.

If you have not created an Our Promise online profile, no worries, your payroll deducted gift will continue and all proceeds will benefit the organization you selected previously.

If you are interested in making a difference RIGHT NOW, please consider donating to our Creek Fire Relief Fund. You can donate online at, or make checks Payable to United Way Fresno and Madera Counties (memo: Creek Fire/Fresno State).
Thank you for your ongoing support. While United Way works to offer COVID-19 and Creek Fire relief to our residents, your generosity is more critical than ever.

I am so happy to provide support for any and all of your questions and concerns. Please do not hesitate to contact me and feel free to share my contact information as needed! I look forward to the positive work we can do together this season and beyond.
