We are thankful, every day for having a safe place to live and good health. As we spend most of our days at home, staying safe and keeping our distance during these challenging times, we thank God for keeping each of us healthy and continue our daily prayers to God, for His loving care and support...
We each have found things to do, to occupy our time indoors. We are thankful and blessed every day as we are able to decide what new adventures to conquer at home.
We were blessed with monthly and special donations to OSELC last month. We thank you for your generous ongoing support and for your commitment to serve with time, talents and treasures.
“O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his steadfast love endures forever!” Psalm 118:1

Stewardship Message for May 2020
May Flowers
|
|
April showers, they say, bring May flowers. Our hope is that the hardship and suffering of this April bring respite and relief in May, though in truth we don’t know how long it may take.
We extend our love and care to all whose lives have been touched by the pandemic; we are overwhelmed by gratitude for all who have been striving to save lives, at the risk of their own; we are deeply moved by all who have stood by their posts and provided the things we needed; we stand with those who lost their jobs; we bear witness to those brave leaders who have made difficult but correct decisions and who continue to guide and direct the well-being of all of us.
Pastor Andersen and your Congregation Council offer a profound “Thank you” to all of you who have continued your prayers for our community, who have continued to give faithfully and generously so we may continue to pay our bills, who have made phone calls to check up on one another and neighbors, who have dropped off food so that we have something to give to those among us who have lost jobs and income during this time.
