Thanks to your incredible generosity and support for the Great Plains Food Bank, we set another record this Giving Hearts Day.
In just 24 hours, we were able to raise more than $315,000, which is enough to supply more than 945,000 meals to help those struggling with hunger throughout North Dakota and western Minnesota. This truly is the most generous region on the planet.
February 14, 2019, was the single largest giving day in the history of the Great Plains Food Bank and it is all because of you. We put out the call to support the #36percent of the more than 97,000 individuals we serve each year that are children. Each one of you answered that call and joined in our critically important work of providing valuable food assistance to those in need. And with 96 percent of each dollar donated going directly to providing food assistance, you have placed us as close as we have ever been to solving hunger.
