A Night to Remember - Thank You!

Our hearts are full after this year’s Gala. To everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, or sponsored, thank you for making our Night Under the Stars so special. Together, we celebrated, connected, and made a meaningful impact. A favorite Gala tradition, the cake auction, brought in our highest total of funds to date, helping provide essential support to moms in our community when they need it most.

“We are so thankful for the generosity in this room,” said Board President Chris Orlando. “That kind of support changes lives.”

Celebrate Her. Encourage Another.

Mother’s Day invites us to cherish the women who loved us, guided us, and stood beside us through every season of life. Through the M.O.M. (Moments of Motherhood) Campaign, you can honor or memorialize a mother, grandmother, mentor, or mother figure with a tribute gift or a Named Fund to carry her legacy forward by supporting Life House mothers and babies throughout the year.

Your gift helps provide encouragement, stability, and hope to mothers walking through incredibly hard seasons.

You can also include a personal message - a memory, a piece of advice, or words of encouragement - to remind a Life House mom that she is seen, valued, and not alone.

Fourteen Years of Faithful Service: Meet Karen

Karen Assetto says she looks forward to Thursdays. For the past 14 years she has spent those days working quietly and steadily at Cay Galgon Life House, filling bags, sorting donations, assembling outfits, and every now and then, holding a baby while a mother shops. She is the kind of volunteer who simply enjoys the work she does helping others. Happily tucked among boxes and bags of heartfelt donations, she just keeps going, giving in ways both seen and unseen.
