Stacks of Fun at the 48th Annual Pancake Breakfast

Families enjoyed stacks of pancakes and family fun in our beautiful Center For a Healthy Lifestyle Garden in Encinitas while raising funds for our Griset Clubhouse during their annual Pancake Breakfast. Thank you to Captain Keno's, Starbucks on Leucadia Blvd., and McDonald’s of Encinitas for their donations and to all of our staff and volunteers for hosting a successful event!

Teaching Kids to Teach Through Art

Our Griset Clubhouse has implemented art lessons taught by our members in an effort to give our youth public speaking experiences.

Members receive instruction from BGC staff before each lesson which empowers them to roll out the curriculum to their peers with confidence and grace.

Where Does Chocolate Come From?

Thanks to the San Diego Botanic Garden, our members now know chocolate is made from the seeds in the fruit of cacao trees.

Our IT Team:

Thank You For Keeping Us 'Connected'

Kudos to more unspoken heroes of our organization, our IT team! This crew keeps us connected, equipped, protected, and working in more ways than we even know. From moving us virtual during the peak of the pandemic to the amount of knowledge and skill it takes to keep our organization running on a day-to-day basis, we appreciate everything our IT Manager, Vianka Mendez, and IT Assistant, Abraham Mares, does every single day.
