Our Team is Growing!
As you know, we are doing everything we can to meet the current demand for emergency care in Volusia and Flagler Counties. Plus, with our DeLand location preparing for a January 2022 opening, we are even more focused on acquiring quality talent to serve even more of your referred patients.

We have made two additions to our veterinary team that deserve a more formal introduction.
Dr. Kari Lemanski joined us earlier this year. She was born and raised in western Pennsylvania and always loved animals. To gain experience while in school, she worked as a small animal veterinary assistant for many years during summers and winter breaks.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in animal science at the University of Findlay in Ohio.

After receiving a doctorate of veterinary medicine from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine, she completed her clinical year at Ohio State University in 2020.

When not caring for animals at the hospital, she enjoys swimming, traveling, spending time with family, friends, and her three dogs, Bella, Cooper, and Winston.
More recently, Dr. Kelly Schwanebeck joined AEHV. A Florida native, she was raised in DeLand.

She is a double Gator, obtaining her bachelor’s degree and subsequently her doctorate of veterinary medicine from the University of Florida.

Dr. Schwanebeck is thrilled to be back in her hometown and looks forward to serving her community.

An outdoor enthusiast, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé, family, friends and fur babies. She also enjoys hiking, boating, exercising, and crafting.
We always appreciate the opportunity to help you and your patients. For more information or to make a referral, please call 386.252.0206 or email us at [email protected].
