We've been a community resource since 1966 and we aren't stopping now.
While our Clubs may be temporarily closed, our number one priority is to stay connected to our youth, our families, and our community at large. We've launched an eClub, a central place to find educational and community resources, organizational updates, and activities for the whole family. We believe in GREAT FUTURES and will help provide the fundamentals to get you there!

Hope Is Not Canceled
Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito is more than a place to go. The heart of our organization lies in the friendships and connections that are made between people. Our caring staff continue to root for our members even though we can’t all be in the same place right now. Many have been organizing donations and distributing food bags to those who need it most. Many of the families whose kids attend programs at La Colonia Clubhouse received bags of vegetables, fruit, meat, tortillas, and other staples, as well as food to help celebrate Easter. A special thanks to the Lions Club for their support in this effort. Thanks to the care and courage of our staff as well as the surrounding community, we will get through this together!

Planning GREAT FUTURES Over ZOOM
Our leadership has been working and Zooming around the clock to connect our whole organization “virtually”. In this period of physical distancing, our staff continues to grow, plan, and provide for our members and our community in creative and effective ways.

CLUB CLOSURE EXTENDED
We will remain closed through Sunday, May 31st, 2020.
Although we hope to reopen as soon as possible, we will only do so
under the advice and guidelines of local and state health authorities.
As we closely monitor the road map to reopening, we urge you to follow
the Stay-at-Home order as we all work to flatten the curve together.

Honoring Longtime Supporter "Ronnie" Delaney and Her Continued Support of BGC in Her Memory
|
The BGC of San Dieguito family was saddened to hear of the passing of Veronica “Ronnie” Delaney on April 2, 2020, following a battle with cancer. A former Del Mar mayor, city council member, and dedicated community leader, Ronnie was also a longtime and ardent supporter of our Clubs. She supported building our Clubs and gardens, and more recently, attended the Aquatics programs her grandchildren took part in with her daughter. We are honored to be listed as one of the organizations to support in her memory at this time, and send all of our love and sympathies to her family.
