At the Union County Foundation, our commitment to enhancing the quality of life in our community is unwavering. To better understand the needs and aspirations of Union County residents, we have partnered with Stratavize, a renowned consulting firm. Together, we have undertaken a comprehensive data collection initiative, gathering insights through surveys and community group discussions. This initiative is pivotal in shaping our future endeavors, ensuring that our actions are aligned with the community's needs and goals.

The insights we will share are not merely statistics or abstract concepts; they represent the voices and experiences of Union County residents. Your feedback and participation have been crucial in this process, and we are deeply grateful for your input. As we move forward, the Union County Foundation is dedicated to transforming these insights into tangible improvements. Week 3- Housing

Majority of households are married without children.

There are a total of 3,238 housing units, with a population around 7,000. This does not leave much room for growth.

Union County has a better than average affordability rate, which is appealing to those looking to live in more affordable areas.

Even though Union County is affordable to live in, we do not have a robust downtown that offers retail, cultural, and art exposure. Residents will seek to other communities to find these experiences.
