It was wonderful to see everyone at Back to School Night. Partnering with Parents is the key to a child's ultimate learning experience.
Dear St. Rose School Families,
Our first full week of school was a success. Teachers and students are getting in to a rhythm that bodes well for maximum learning.
t was a pleasure to see so many of you at Back to School Night. Partnering with parents is critical to the health of our school and we are fortunate to have such a high level of commitment from you. Together we will keep St. Rose School going strong. If you were unable to attend the meeting here is a link to the slides.
My most heartfelt thanks to the HSA and all school parents who voted to give us $35,000 toward the removal of the portable classrooms. This is an amazing gift and one that will put the school in healthier financial standing going forward.
This Sunday night at 6:00 PM Mrs. Wong will test the Emergency contact system. Please be sure to enter the code 956-64 to your phone. Thank you.
I hope you are planning to come to Bingo tonight. This is a fun event sponsored by our HSA and a great opportunity to get together with family and friends. It's also a good way to support our school. My thanks to the many volunteers who run this so efficiently. Please spread the word!
Have a great weekend.
Mr. Bardhyl Gjoka
Congratulations to the 38 St. Rose student athletes who will be competing on one of our basketball teams this season. We look forward to a fun, exciting year ahead.
We hope to have some good news to share about our Cheer program shortly. Thank you for your patience during this transition.

FACES & PLACES
There's always something photo and newsworthy going on at St. Rose School. Here are some photos from the first days...enjoy!
The newly paved parking lot is beautiful and...safe! Sidewalks and illumination are wonderful additions that have led to new protocols for bus and car walk arrival/departure procedures. We appreciate your cooperation which guarantees safety and efficiency for all involved. Click here for details;

Beginning in October, St. Rose will again be offering Homework and Tutoring support after school each day, from 3pm - 4pm, as a resource for students in grades 2 thru 8. Registration forms are sent out in the school newsletter throughout the year and you can select - with payment - the days that you want your child to attend. Read more...
Thank you to all who attended our meeting last evening at Back-to-School night. It was wonderful having an opportunity to see so many of our parents gathered together. For those unable to make the meeting, you will find a link to our presentation slides as well as a link to the HSA Enrollment form below. We appreciate that so many took the time to bring a completed form and check to last night's meeting - we are off to a great start towards our fundraising goal!
As those who were able to attend know, we really didn't have time to field questions or hear ideas from "the floor" last evening. Please reach out to us with any thoughts/questions/ideas you might have following review of the slides. Our email address is "firstname.lastname@example.org".
Tonight, we look forward to seeing you at our first Bingo event of the school year! It's a great evening to spend with the family, and fun for all ages. We hope to see many of our St. Rose School families join our St. Rose parishioners and greater community to have some fun together.
Next week, we will host our 2nd annual Bonfire night. Last year's event was such a huge success, and we are looking forward to seeing you all around the bonfire at Castle Hill Farm. Please remember to RSVP so we can plan food.
Band instruction will once again be offered after school. There will be a school assembly on September 19th and registration forms will be handed out there. This is a wonderful program for 1st-8th graders. We hope those who studied last year will continue and others will consider giving it a try. For questions email email@example.com
Auditions are coming up for The Nutcracker, see details in this flyer.
