Psalm 139:14 “I am fearfully and wonderfully made”
Mark 12:31 “Love your neighbor as you love yourself”
Galatians 6:4-5 “Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, for we are each responsible for our own conduct.”
Micah 6:8 “God has told you, human one, what is good and what the Lord requires from you: to do justice, embrace faithful love, and walk humbly with your God.”

Two weeks ago at First United we hosted our first O.W.L. training. O.W.L. stands for Our Whole Lives, and is a comprehensive sexuality education program with age-appropriate curriculum that begins with kindergarten and continues into adulthood. This program dismantles stereotypes and assumptions, builds self-acceptance and self-esteem, fosters healthy relationships, improves decision making, and has the potential to save lives. The core values of O.W.L. are self-worth, sexual health, responsibility, and justice and inclusivity.
