Issue #04
December 2019
Season’s Greetings!
As we wrap up 2019, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on our incredible year, and to give you, dear supporter, our sincere thanks.
Our new Board Chair, Andrea Weiss, began her term in January. Just a few months into her leadership role, she joined board and team members on a visit to California, to meet with brand and community partners to envision a future in which the positive impact made on our communities is limitless.
In the Spring, the City of Orlando dedicated April 24 th as “Delivering Good Day”, with visits to long-standing community partners and a reception attended by The Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation and leaders in the fashion, philanthropy, finance and hospitality industries to celebrate our collaborative impact in the Orlando community.
Autumn brought the wrath of Hurricane Dorian, which had a disastrous effect on the Bahamas and the southeastern coast of the United States. The Delivering Good team traveled to the Bahamas in October to distribute goods to the many individuals and families who lost so much.
From California to the Bahamas and across America, Delivering Good will never give up until we can provide a sense of dignity and hope to everyone in need. This holiday season, we give thanks for all your support and we look forward to Delivering Good with you in 2020 and beyond!
Disaster Relief Update
In November, members of the Delivering Good board and friends of Delivering Good traveled to Freeport, Grand Bahama. As part of this service trip, Delivering Good delivered over $1 million of new product to help communities rebuild in the wake of Hurricane Dorian. This meaningful trip showcased how much damage has occurred and how desperately new product is still needed.

Delivering Good continues to support the people of the Bahamas as they recover from Hurricane Dorian, as well as the people of California rebuilding from wildfires and communities throughout the world that are impacted by natural disasters.

Community Partner of the Quarter: Denver Health Foundation
Denver Health Foundation, Denver’s public safety net hospital, Denver Health, that cares for many low-income children and families. They told us that they “care for one in every three children in Denver and 85% of them are living below Federal Poverty Levels.”
Representatives from Denver Health Foundation shared the impact of our donations: “A single mother showed up at one of our Family Health centers with her two young children. They had just arrived from Honduras and were tired and frightened. Tragically, Dad had died along the way during their long trek north. Our clinic staff was able to provide KIDBOX school clothing, Burt’s Bees pajamas and BOBS from Skechers shoes from generous Delivering Good donations. She wept with tears of joy and relief.”

Financial Donor of the Quarter: Tailored Brands

Delivering Good is proud to announce a new phase in our partnership with one of our long-time donors, Tailored Brands! For many years, Delivering Good has been one of several partners that helps Tailored Brands distribute merchandise to individuals in need throughout the country. This year, Tailored Brands asked us to be their sole distributor. As part of this partnership, Tailored Brands awarded Delivering Good a $100,000 to support the administrative costs of the organization.

When we asked them why they chose us as their sole charitable distributor, they told us, “Delivering Good provides an environmentally sustainable solution and a seamless and efficient distribution of our products to those in need.”
