As the colder weather is starting to come in and we're getting closer to the holiday season, our construction crews are still going strong to wrap up a few more backyard overhauls before the year is over. The maintenance teams have also been staying busy rounding out the last few weeks with leaf removal, creating beautiful winter pots, and applying the last round of fertilization treatments.

2022 started off with a bang when we acquired Ken-Cut Lawn Service, growing our Maintenance Division to cover more commercial needs. We are honored that Ken and Joy trusted Property Pros with the integration of their hardworking team members and amazing clients, and we have worked hard over the past year to keep their legacy going!
On the design and build side, our designers have continued to push the envelope to create one-of-a-kind plans, custom to each home. This has allowed our construction crews to install some pretty awesome projects. From simple paver patios to full outdoor living spaces complete with a pool, firepit, and outdoor kitchen, we have enjoyed seeing these designs come to life over the past year.
During our annual all-employee kick-off event in March, our theme was "It takes all of us to win." As we look back at 2022, we are so thankful that we all came together to have such a successful year. All of these accomplishments would not be possible without employees that put their all into every project, vendors that make sure we have the highest quality materials, and clients who allow us to come to their homes or places of business to do what we love each day.

REMINDER: Time is ticking on getting your dormant pruning service scheduled!
What is dormant pruning, and why is it important?
Dormant pruning is a special type of trimming that can greatly reduce the size and structure of your shrubs that may be encroaching on windows, walkways, house walls, etc., without causing long-term harm to the plant. The dormant season, typically beginning in late fall and going through early spring, is also the best time to clear diseased branches, not only because they're easier to spot, but also to give the plant ample time to heal in the spring.
This underutilized service will help keep your plants happy, healthy, and maintained, while saving you the hassle and cost of removing and replacing an overgrown plant. Contact us to schedule your service no later than January 1st. Work will be done from December-February.
*Dormant pruning cannot be done on evergreens.

As our Maintenance Operations Manager, Jason fills his day with overseeing our maintenance crews (which have more than tripled this year!), meeting with new and existing clients, and trying to keep up with the ongoing communication so everyone has the information and updates they need.
Jason ensures that Property Pros consistently performs to the highest standards for landscape maintenance and has been a champion for teaching our team the best practices in our industry.
Over the last month, Jason has been in deep with maintenance contract renewals and planning for 2023 to make it our best year yet. Thank you, Jason, for the countless hours and infinite dedication you put into everything you do for Property Pros!

Christmas Tree Pull-Apart Bread
This tasty holiday appetizer is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. Not to mention it's so easy to make! Use pizza dough or even your favorite refrigerated rolls. Bake, dip, and enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 lb. refrigerated pizza dough
- Egg wash (1 egg whisked with 1 tbsp water)
- 7 mozzarella sticks
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 1/2 c. finely grated parmesan
- 1 tbsp. thinly sliced basil
- 1 tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 tbsp. chopped rosemary
- Marinara, warmed (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut mozzarella sticks into 1” pieces and set aside.
- On a floured surface, divide pizza dough into two pieces. Stretch and roll each piece of dough into a long rectangle, then cut dough into 2” squares (you’ll need 33 total).
- Wrap a dough square around each piece of mozzarella, forming a tightly sealed ball. Place balls seam-side down on the baking sheet in the shape of a Christmas tree (they should be touching). Brush egg wash on dough balls and bake until golden, 15 to 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, whisk together melted butter, Parmesan cheese, and herbs. Brush on baked pizza balls. Serve warm with marinara for dipping.
