NEW SWMSS STAFF MEMBER
Patrice O’Loughlin joined our team this month as the new Cooperative Food Bid Manager. She has over 40 years of experience in the wholesale, retail, and school food industry. Patrice is eager to lend her expertise to school nutrition directors and managers across Montana.
Patrice is transitioning out of her position as the Director of School Nutrition in Hardin, serving 2000 students in six schools. During her tenure she initiated Breakfast in the Classroom, free meals for all students, backpack and pantry programs, house-made meals and healthy nutritional initiatives. She has served in several capacities for the School Nutrition Association, Team Nutrition, No Kid Hungry, and OPI, and she was recently invited to serve as a Montana School Food Service Peer Educator. Patrice is passionate about student food access and inventing techniques to serve nutritious, affordable, and appealing meals.
