Welcome to the second part of our 'pick of the year' review. In case you didn't see the first one, you can click here to see the web version.

As building industry publishing specialists, we're always delighted to receive truly interesting stories, and it makes our joy complete when they're accompanied by stunning photography!

It makes our job of bringing the stories to you much easier and makes working on them and promoting them through our magazines, websites, emails and social media accounts a true pleasure.

We've been fortunate, in 2025, to receive and work with some wonderful project and product development stories - it was tough to pick twelve favourites but we've done it and here's part two below.

2025 HIGHLIGHTS

TILE OF SPAIN

From Building Innovations News: Tile of Spain is delighted to be exhibiting at the Surface Design Show in February 2026. Showcasing the newest collections from a selection of its manufacturers, the show offers visitors an opportunity to see the very latest in Spanish tile innovation, design and technology.

HMG PAINTS

From Brickwork Bulletin: HMG Paints supplied a full range of interior coatings for the Collyhurst Village show home. HMG's bespoke colour palettes complement the village’s architecture while capturing the warmth, innovation and character of the region’s past.

CRL STONE

From Xtrabuild: Every detail works in this beautiful kitchen, creating a truly cohesive design. For the homeowners, it is all thanks to the natural elegance of CRL Stone’s exquisite Messina Gold quartz, which has effortlessly tied the scheme together to give their kitchen a fresh new look.

FITZROY OF LONDON

From ATB News: Leading accessible bathroom brand Fitzroy of London collaborated with London interior design studio, Studio Mica, to develop accessible bathroom solutions for the new guest rooms and suites at Montcalm Mayfair in London.

IDSYSTEMS

From Building Innovations News: As the demand for slim-framed doors has grown, so has the number of products available. Those ultra-thin frames look fantastic, but can come with hidden risks that clients don’t find out about until it’s too late. Edward Stobart, Technical Sales Manager at IDSystems, explains.

TED TODD

From Xtrabuild - Ted Todd, specialists in engineered wood flooring, has announced the expansion of its Project Collection with the launch of six new extra wide, extra thick floors.
