Dementia Enrichment Center is home to Enrichment Club, a day program that offers a unique blend of activities tailored to enhance cognitive abilities, promote social interaction, and create a supportive community for people with dementia. Open weekdays 7:30am-5:30pm, and offering flexible scheduling and affordable pricing, we welcome people who experience dementia due to any illness or condition, and does not have age restrictions.

Dementia Partners Support Group

Beginning in February, Dementia Enrichment Center will host a free Alzheimer's and dementia support group! We invite caregivers, friends, and families of people with dementia to join us the first and third Wednesday of each month from 6-7PM for connections, growth, and support. Dementia Partners meets at the Dementia Enrichment Center and is offered free of charge.

Caregivers frequently tell us that bathing can be an especially challenging task that sometimes turns into a big ordeal. We love this article by Fisher Center Alzheimer's Research Foundation offering tips and techniques for bathing people with Alzheimer's and other dementias.

Home-delivered Meals

Mom's meals provides home-delivered meals designed by registered dieticians, crafted by professional chefs, and prepared in USDA-approved kitchens. Ready-to-heat meals can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 14 days from delivery, and can be customized to meet dietary needs and preferences. Mom's Meals are covered by many Medicaid and Medicare Advantage plans.

I'm Ringo, the most beloved (and important) staff member at Dementia Enrichment Center. I love visiting with Enrichment Club participants and their caregivers while they are doing stimulating activities or relaxing. My warm, welcoming presence makes it easy for people to connect with me, and they love to stroke my soft fluffy coat. Sometimes when people talk to me, I even whisper back!

I was born in Colombia, South America, but I've been a proud Texan since I was a pup. In November I celebrated my 8th birthday! In addition to hanging out with my people friends, I enjoy sunbathing and exploring the 10-acre farm where I live. We have a lot of animals on the farm, but I'm everyone's favorite! I also contribute to this monthly column where I share wisdom, ideas, and information for caregivers.

Taste yummy chili and show your support for Dementia Enrichment Center as we compete in the Caraday Healthcare Chili Cookoff at Western Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation in Temple. Free.

at the Belton Senior Center. Join Ringo as he hosts BINGO! Prizes galore and fun for all at this exciting event open to all older adults. A great opportunity for caregivers to get away, or for anyone to make a winning memory with their loved one with dementia. Free.
