In the past 37 years KCI has gained tremendous experience in Rail Transportation, Affordable Housing, Parks and Recreation, Worship facilities, Education, Civil infrastructure, and Commercial building sectors of the construction industry. We look forward to sharing our expertise with you all throughout 2025 and beyond. Our goal is to work with you all and provide excellence in building highly sustainable projects that will enhance our communities for years and years to come.

I want to thank you all for helping KCI becoming what we are. Please have a wonderful prosperous blessed 2025! We look forward to working with you all soon.

Affordable housing is a critical need. At our heart, KCI strongly supports our communities’ move toward ensuring everyone has a home. These projects are near and dear to us; we see, firsthand, the difference it makes in the lives of our neighbors. Affordable housing presents unique challenges and opportunities, and we leverage our experience and expertise to ensure you have all of the information needed to make the best choice for your project’s sustainability, longevity, and budget. Our team has an extensive amount of LIHTC experience, and we also manage the coordination of Davis Bacon, Section 3, and Enterprise Green Communities requirements to ensure transparent compliance with all of the agencies involved.

AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROJECTS

St. Valentine's Apartments, Loveland CO. St. Valentine’s Apartments, the latest housing project from Catholic Charities Housing, is providing a light at the end of the tunnel for individuals struggling with homelessness in Loveland, Colorado.

The new and innovative supportive housing complex in the Sweetheart City, located at 915 E. 10th Street, provides housing for people who are exiting homelessness. The building has 48 one-bedroom and six two-bedroom units with a total 54 units. Importantly, St. Valentine is not just a housing complex; it’s a comprehensive solution to address the challenging issues faced by the homeless population.

Meadow Vista Housing, Brush CO. Meadow Vista was the first development in the Brush community supported with Housing Tax Credits in 28 years.

45 one/two bedrooms units, a park and community garden open to the broader community, thoughtfully designed building, and targeted towards households earning between 30-60% of County Median Income.

As the agricultural hub for the state, the lack of investment in housing over decades has had tremendous consequences. Employees are forced to live elsewhere and commute into the County for work, which has left high turnover unfilled jobs and a stagnated economy.

Housing is Economic Development.

StarRise Apartments, Greeley CO. We began construction in June 2024 and are on track for a fall 2025 completion. We’re transforming the 6.5-acres North Weld Village campus into 150 affordable apartments, including the 58-unit StarRise Apartments to permanently house our most vulnerable unhoused neighbors.

Located at 101 9th Avenue, StarRise will also offer free on-site support services, such as case management, nutrition, medical and mental health care, job assistance, and help with benefits enrollment.

We are building hope and opportunity for our community!
