NEW YEAR AND NEW NEWS

Silver City MainStreet has had some fun and some wins since the last newsletter. In October the inaugural Silver City Community Film Festival happened with great success, interesting films and lots of fun. Small Business Saturday was well received especially because we had fabulous weather. Now the holiday lights have come down and we are ready to start a new year.

Businesses that have found their spot on Bullard

There have been some great new additions to Bullard Street recently. Please make sure to stop in, welcome, and support these small businesses. Kalamata's located in The Hub is build- your-own-pasta-bowls, they are also online and available for delivery throughout Silver City. Silver City Gallery is a beautiful gallery also located in The Hub that specializes in Vintage Native American Art in all forms. Mulcogi's Medicine Circle, across the street at 808 N. Bullard is a herb shop that also sells flutes, singing bowls, steel tongue drums and fair trade teas.

Come Check out everything new at the Murray Ryan Visitor Center including the New Co-Managers

We have a couple new brochures for visitors at the Murray Ryan Visitor Center that may be of interest as locals and business owners. "What's up Downtown" shares what's happening in the 2 current week intervals so comes out twice a month. There is also the What's OPEN Sunday Monday Guide which people that arrive on Sunday really appreciate.

Greeting our out of town visitors are Co-Managers Patricia Stoller and Leigh Jenkins along with a fun staff of 4 people creating full coverage to be open every day of the week. New in the MainStreet office is Sarah Zamora as the part-time Administrative Assistant.

"I am thrilled to have Sarah, Patricia, and Leigh join our organization. They each bring so much experience and knowledge to the table, supporting the depth and breadth of our work." -Sharla Lefkowitz-Oberg, Executive Director
