We are regularly asked about the best and worst jurisdictions on fees so we put together a 10-City comparative of regulatory fees for 3 types of projects: Free-standing new warehouse; new multi-family project; tenant improvement project.
Our first comparative is based on a Free-standing new warehouse. Fees range from $542k to $3.8m on the same design parameters – 100,000sf, one story, Type III construction, $15m value. Fees are estimates based on recent research. Fees do not include utility companies’ fees, community benefits and other fees that could come out of the entitlement process.
