This month, Town Hall would like to recognize Freeway Music. Freeway music opened the Blythewood location in January 2020 and has been a great asset to the Town of Blythewood. They specialize in private music lessons, rock band classes, theatre programs, and preschool music programs. Freeway teaches all instruments, all styles, levels, and ages."The decision to come to Blythewood was a good one. This is an amazing Town. The community has been very supportive of us, and we are excited to continue to develop music and various arts in the Blythewood community. Town Updates: March 20th, 2023

In February, the Town hired the consulting firm Kendig Keast Collaborative to update its land usage ordinance and create an annexation policy. The process should take about a year and there will be opportunities for public input in the coming months
Richland County has awarded the construction bid for the widening of Blythewood Road from Syrup Mill Road to Interstate 77. There will be a groundbreaking ceremony. Please contact us for more information.
Business License renewals are due April 30th.
SCOUT Motors has chosen Blythewood, South Carolina as its first manufacturing plant to build electric vehicles.
