Our new skatechurch ministry kicked off this past September and has been a rousing success. Every Monday evening from 5pm to 7pm we invite area middle and high schoolers to join us for a free skate session and a time of sharing the Good News.
Attendance has been encouraging and we've had several professional skateboarders attend and share their testimonies. This ministry is a partnership with Berkley Hills Church and is led by pastor Kirk Bierens. 2nd ANNUAL SPRING BREAK FAMILY NIGHT
We held our first-ever Spring break family event last year and nearly 600 people attended. This year's event will be held on TUESDAY EVENING, APRIL 7, FROM 6PM-9PM.
Join us for an evening of family fun that will include carnival games, inflatables, door prizes, and all the regular activities we offer. Our cafe will also be open for cash sales. If you can't make it to Florida for Spring break, join us for the next best thing!
STAFF SPOTLIGHT
In this month's regular feature we're introducing you to Andy Wawrzyniak and Kali Wynsma. Yes, that's an engagement picture to the left, so we thought we'd highlight them together! In addition to their service at 3MP, Kali is a nursing student at Davenport University and Andy is studying to be a paramedic while working for Life EMS.
We asked the Andy & Kali the following questions:
* How long have you been staff members at 3MP?
Since just after we graduated from high school - almost 4 years.
* What is your favorite memory of your time at 3MP?
The very first school supply giveaway event at 3MP in 2017. We had no idea what attendance might be. Our executive director guessed maybe 200-300 people would show up. By the end of the evening more than 950 people had walked through our doors. The crowd was crazy big and it was a super-cool experience!
* What do you like to do when you're not serving at 3MP?
Go to our cottage and fish, walk our dog (Remy), and have game nights with friends.
* What is one thing on your bucket list? Visit Alaska to see the northern lights.
* Give us 3 words that describe 3MP to you: Laughter, faith, and fun,
