Appeals court temporarily blocks enforcement of gendered school bathrooms law

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit has temporarily blocked an Idaho law scheduled to take effect Nov. 3 that would have prevented transgender students from using school facilities that match their gender identity.

Absentee ballot request deadline is today

The deadline to apply for a November election absentee ballot is 5 p.m. on Friday. Completed ballots must be returned to elections offices by 8 p.m. on Election Day.

West Bonner trustees select temporary superintendent

Idaho Education News: West Bonner trustees appointed a temporary superintendent Wednesday night following their acceptance of a resignation of an unnamed employee, presumed to be Branden Durst. The board held its first meeting since the August recall election with all three remaining trustees attending in person.
